I have recently heard many people talk about the high exchange rates and how imposing they are. Among these talks, the one that stuck to my ears was Abidemi's. She said, “I wish I could send money to Nigeria at my own exchange rate.” Everyone laughed when they heard her say that because they knew it was impossible. What marketplace would allow you to choose your exchange rate?
While we all laughed at her, Felix motioned to us, saying that Abidemi's wish was very possible. In doubt and disbelief, we chorused “how.” His answer started with one word, “Swap.”
Swap is a P2P feature on Kyshi's marketplace that allows you to exchange pounds for naira at rates that you love. This way, you don't have to get stuck to fixed exchange rates. Now that you know what Swap is, let's walk through how you can use it.
Swap is a peer-to-peer feature, so you can either create an exchange rate or accept someone's offer. It's easy– you'll be done in these four steps:
Step One: Log into your Kyshi app, click the send button at the bottom of the screen, and select the “Swap” function.
Step Two: After clicking on “Swap,” select the sender and receiver currency and enter the amount you want to exchange.
Step Three: Choose an exchange rate that suits you and continue with your offer. Once done, choose the recipient's medium of exchange (My wallet, Bank Account, Kyshi user) and send the funds.
Step Four: Alternatively, you can choose someone's exchange offer on our marketplace. After you have inputted your exchange amount, click on continue and select “View matching offers.”
Once done, you will see several offers on the marketplace for you to pick from.
Exchanging currencies should not be ladened with difficulty and rigidity. Hence, Kyshi's Swap feature promotes independence and freedom in the marketplace.
Yeah, back to my story 😄. Abidemi's wish came through. And now, she uses and enjoys currency exchanges with Swap. You should use Swap too. Download the Kyshi app to get started.
